About this Event

Investec is excited to launch its Return to Work Programme in partnership with Women Returners, designed to guide and support talented individuals who have taken an extended career break of two or more years, back to work. The programme is open to those with investment management backgrounds looking to return and also to individuals from a financial services or professional services background looking to retrain as an investment manager.

Event schedule

• Introductions and housekeeping
• A flavour of Investec Wealth and Investment by Barbara Ann King, CCO Investec Wealth and Investment
• A guide through the Return to Work Programme by Charmaine Bannerman, Programme Manager
• An exclusive insight into what your day to day will look like and also an insight into a previous returners experience. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
• Women Returners Workshop - Your self-marketing tool kit - how to position yourself for a career change
• Interactive networking in break-out rooms with staff within the Wealth Management team (It would be great if you could have your video on for this section)

Who should attend

• Individuals who are interested in the Investec Wealth and Investment Return to Work Programme.
• Individuals who have been on an extended career break for 2 or more years looking to return to work
• Individuals who are from a financial services or professional services background looking to retrain as an investment manager.

The Insight Event will focus on the 9- month retraining pathway, although experienced investment managers interested in the 6-month returnship are welcome to attend.
