Description

•    Design and develop people metrics, analyses, and data reporting infrastructure to support P&O and business unit requirements.
•    Consult to and produce insights and reporting for key stakeholders (i.e., the Board, Executive and Regulator).
•    Work across multiple data sources, combining data from structured and unstructured sources, and applying statistical methods to gather, analyse, and interpret data to derive useful information for a business audience.
•    Participate in projects that develop and implement IT system requirements for assigned projects.
•    Support global reporting and ensure consistent methodology and approaches to reporting across all jurisdictions.
•    Create standard and repeatable tools to automate as much data insight reporting as possible.
•    Embed the use of AI and machine learning in the People Analytics function.
•    Drive adoption of people analytics products and technology across the organisation.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data quality, consistency, and collection.
•    Improve business processes and data collection where opportunities arise.
•    Identify analytics opportunities and new data sources to create value for the organisation.
•    Ensure data quality and appropriate governance as related to POPIA and GDPR.
•    Provide thought leadership on using analytics in the People and Organisation space.

Experience, skills and capability

•    3- 5 years' experience working with data analysis and business intelligence tools (such as Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI).
•    Extensive experience in using AI and machine learning within People Analytics.
•    Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
•    Strong analytic and critical thinking capabilities and a high degree of numeracy and creativity.
•    Strong interpersonal, communication and project management skills.
•    Strong written and oral communication skills.
•    High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
•    Regulatory reporting expertise and insight including liaison with external and internal regulatory bodies and representatives, annual disclosures, annual report submissions and ESG.
•    Ability to communicate and collaborate with other teams to solve problems collectively.
•    Research capability.
•    Ability to formulate a clear problem statement, develop a plan for tackling it, and clearly communicate findings verbally, visually, and in writing.
•    Exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive data.
•    Be self-aware, open to feedback and able to deliver through an iterative, feedback rich and collaborative process.
•    Ability to self-manage and deliver under pressure without compromising on quality.
