Business Analyst (13156)
Description
The role will involve working on the Swiss functions in the operational business and all surrounding interfaces. The role will involve project and business as usual deliverables, the resolution of user issues and requests as well as maintenance and support of systems and related interfaces. Independent and original thinking will be required, and to meet expectations, you will have to solve complex problems/issues, particularly as multiple systems, clients and technologies are involved.
Key Responsibilities
• High level business case and solution design (including the Functional requirements Specification) for business-driven requirements within given standards
• Deliver cost-effective, user friendly, innovative solutions (business process re-engineering, systems and technology)
• Participate in the full SDLC depending on the scope of the initiative including post implementation activities. This includes the formulation of appropriate documents to present at the various forums and checkpoints
• Ensure that processes, business rules and data requirements are adequately documented and discussed with developers
• Ensure that the solution meets the changing business requirements in terms of functionality, capacity and reliability
• Ensure that all projects are delivered meeting business requirements, can be measured through a sound business case and adhere to agreed application and integration architecture principles
• Projects are run using agile methodologies
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
o IT or relevant qualification
o 5+ years of BA work experience
o Sound working knowledge of MS office specifically Excel and Word.
o Experience with design thinking concepts could be an advantage
o Experience and understanding of international investments would be advantageous
