Description

Investec is looking for a DevOps Engineer to build, evolve, and operate the CI/CD platform that enables safe, fast, secure delivery across the enterprise. This role focuses on automation, pipeline reliability, developer enablement, and platform engineering.

Key Responsibilities

•    Design, build and maintain shared CI/CD pipeline templates. 
•    Ensure platform reliability, availability and operational excellence.
•    Implement automated tests, policy checks, approvals and rollback mechanisms.
•    Build reusable automation frameworks and paved paths. 
•    Reduce cognitive load via standardization, documentation and templates. 
•    Partner with teams to accelerate onboarding and usage of the CI/CD platform.
•    Integrate security scans, dependency checks, SBOM generation and guardrails. 
•    Enforce supported component versions and policy-as-code.
•    Provide pipeline insights, workflow metrics and end-to-end traceability. 
•    Optimize build queues, reliability, and performance.
•    Champion DevOps and platform engineering best practices.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

•    5+ years DevOps/platform engineering experience. 
•    Strong experience in Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions. 
•    Proficient in YAML pipelines, automation, scripting. 
•    Knowledge of container pipelines, secure scanning and governance.
