Power Platform Engineer Client Tech (13838)
Description
We are looking for a skilled Power Platform Engineer to help govern, automate and scale the organisation's Microsoft Power Platform capability.
This role combines platform administration, governance, solution delivery and business enablement. You will contribute directly to the Power Platform strategy by building applications and automations, improving platform controls, supporting makers and stakeholders, and identifying new opportunities to create value through Power Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain apps, workflows and data solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
- Manage environments, access, connectors, capacity and platform settings.
- Improve governance, monitoring and Center of Excellence practices.
- Create reusable templates, components and automation patterns.
- Support application lifecycle management across development, testing and production.
- Guide makers and teams on solution design, platform standards and responsible use.
- Explore new Microsoft capabilities and use feedback and platform insights to help shape the roadmap.
- Investigate and resolve issues affecting existing apps, flows and platform services.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
- Ability to build canvas or model-driven applications and automated workflows.
- Familiarity with environment management, security, connectors and Data Loss Prevention policies.
- Understanding of governance, monitoring and Center of Excellence principles.
- Knowledge of solution management and deployment between environments.
- Ability to understand a business need and turn it into a suitable technical approach.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
- Familiarity with the Power Platform CoE Starter Kit or similar governance tooling.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, source control or deployment pipelines.
- Exposure to APIs, custom connectors, Azure services or enterprise integration.
- Familiarity with Copilot Studio, AI Builder or related Microsoft AI tools.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, C# or .NET.
- Previous work in a regulated or financial services environment.
