Solutions Architect (14020)
Description
We are currently looking for 3 Solutions Architects, for our Central Services IT and Private Banking Technology teams.
A Solutions Architect is responsible for defining and governing end-to-end technology solutions that support business strategy and deliver sustainable business outcomes. This role partners with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure and resilient solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and strategic priorities.
The role provides architectural leadership across the solution lifecycle, from concept and design through implementation and ongoing optimization.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the end-to-end solution architecture, ensuring alignment between business objectives, technology strategy and delivery outcomes.
• Define and maintain architecture roadmaps, target-state architectures and solution blueprints.
• Provide architectural leadership and guidance to engineering, delivery and business teams.
• Design solutions that are secure, scalable, resilient, cost-effective and aligned to governance standards.
• Define appropriate integration, data and technology patterns across enterprise systems and platforms.
• Facilitate architecture discussions, manage technology trade-offs and communicate architectural decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Produce and maintain architecture artefacts, standards and governance documentation.
• Contribute to architecture best practice, technology innovation and continuous improvement across the organisation
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8-10+ years' experience in software engineering, solution architecture or related technology leadership roles.
• Strong experience designing enterprise-scale solutions across cloud, integration, data and application domains.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Azure, Oracle and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience working within architecture governance frameworks and standards.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Financial services or other regulated industry experience.
• Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, BIZBOK, DM-BOK, BIAN or Zachman.
• Relevant architecture or cloud certifications.
• Exposure to AI, modern integration architectures and emerging technologies
• Proficiency in using AI-enabled productivity tools, such as Copilot, to improve efficiency, generate insight and support decision-making. Applies critical thinking and sound judgement when interpreting outputs, remains accountable for the quality and accuracy of their work
