Advisor Consultant (11611)

Description

The Adviser Consultant will provide intermediary services, including sales, administration, and marketing, as well as product advice across both Investment and Life Insurance products offered to Investec Private Bank clients. This position is sales-focused role and primarily centered on driving sales and revenue growth. It requires proactive engagement with clients to identify and capitalize on opportunities effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities

•    Create a client experience that is convenient, effortless, and personalized, ensuring a bespoke approach to service.
•    Provide product advice information and advise on specific client financial planning needs.
•    Manage leads and appropriately triage them to the correct sales or service channels.
•    Conduct proactive sales initiatives and manage marketing campaigns effectively.
•    Deliver exceptional client service through online navigation, assisting clients with online applications for both Insure and Invest.
•    Collaborate with Financial Advisers and Private Bankers to achieve sales budgets and targets.
•    Provide operational and sales support for both Investec Life and IWI Investments.
•    Compile and present Records of Recommendation and Advice to clients.
•    Communicate effectively with both external and internal stakeholders.
•    Ensure compliance with all rules and regulations within the financial industry.


Experience, Skills and Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
•    RE5 qualification (either obtained or in progress).
•    A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the financial services industry, demonstrating a proven track record in client service and sales.
•    FAIS accreditation is required over time to provide the necessary level of advice to clients.
•    Experience in a client service environment is advantageous.
•    High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
•    Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
•    Willingness to deliver an exceptional client experience.
