Business Analyst (13354)

Description

You will operate within a highly motivated, agile, cross-functional team with full ownership of Private Client Lending Origination and Servicing.
This role combines BA responsibilities with a strong operational support, testing, and release focus, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery into production, while maintaining stability across BAU systems. You will play a key role in supporting releases, ensuring testing completeness, managing BAU issues and maintaining strong stakeholder engagement alongside contributing to change initiatives and continuous improvements.

 

Key Responsibilities


Support in‑hours and out‑of‑hours releases and deployment activities
• Coordinate UAT, obtain stakeholder sign‑off, and confirm release readiness
• Perform post‑release validation and support transition into BAU
• Act as first‑line support for BAU queries, incidents, and change requests
• Investigate issues, identify root causes, and manage defects through to resolution
• Ensure complete, high‑quality, and auditable testing aligned to requirements
• Validate test coverage, UAT outcomes, and regulatory compliance
• Elicit, document, and maintain business and regulatory requirements
• Support change delivery across requirements, testing, and release
Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams
• Maintain governance artefacts and support audit and change processes
•I dentify improvements and ensure delivered features realise business value
• Act as an SME in lending systems and processes
• Support release governance and BAU coverage
• Monitor benefits realisation and ensure policy and regulatory compliance

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

•   Strong ability to gather and document business requirements.
•    Proven experience supporting releases, including UAT coordination and post-release validation 
•    Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including UAT and functional testing 
•    Ability to ensure high-quality, auditable testing and compliance standards 
•    Excellent stakeholder communication and relationship management skills 
•    Experience working in Agile environments and participating in ceremonies 
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desirable Skills;
•    Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, particularly in the context of mortgage or financial services.
•    Knowledge of UK MCOB regulations and compliance requirements related to mortgages.
