Description

Investec is looking for a Cloud Engineer to design, codify, and operationalize the Azure Landing Zone, ensuring scalable, governed, and automated onboarding of cloud services across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

•    Build, maintain, and enhance Azure Landing Zone foundations. 
•    Codify guardrails, policy-as-code, and identity patterns.    
•    Develop and maintain reusable Terraform/Bicep modules. 
•    Standardise onboarding patterns.    
•    Run onboarding workflows, provide guidance, and validate deployments. 
•    Maintain documentation and reference architectures.
•    Implement policy-as-code and platform guardrails. 
•    Support audits and cloud risk reviews.
•    Automate platform tasks and operate pipelines. 
•    Monitor platform health and remediate issues.
•    Work with Platform Engineering, CloudOps, Networking and Security teams.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

•    5+ years cloud engineering experience. 
•    Strong Azure experience (Landing Zones, IAM, Networking, Policies). 
•    Proficient in IaC (Terraform/Bicep), GitOps, CI/CD. 
•    Strong understanding of Azure governance and security. 
•    Scripting in Python/Bash.
