Description

Investec Sandton is looking for a senior experienced developer in the Client Technology team. The 
successful candidate will be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the complete software development life 
cycle, from conception to deployment of each new feature. Fostering a culture of innovation, teamwork, continuous 
improvement and coaching within the development team is necessary in this role.

The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and tech partners, to deliver high quality software solutions. As the Developer, they will play an integral role in shaping our development methodologies 
and resources to better serve our clients / stakeholders to meet our business goals. These include code reviews and driving best 
practices amongst the developers along with driving DORA metrics for Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery
(CI/CD). In addition to being a senior developer, the successful candidate will need to be proactive and looking for new 
opportunities to build efficiencies into the organization's technical capabilities and strategies.

Experience, skill and capability

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a full stack developer with a strong understanding of .NET ecosystem and related 
  Technologies.
• Proficiency in database design and SQL.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and DevOps practices.
• Technical experience and familiarity with web and app development and technologies such as .Net, Kubernetes,    
  Angular, GitLab, Microsoft Azure, Dynatrace etc
• Adapting interface for modern internet applications using the latest front-end and back-end technologies
• Developing application codes and unit tests in .Net and Rest Web Services
• IT Degree or Diploma
