GRC Technical Business Analyst (11400)
Description
Technical Business Analyst with expertise in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) application to join our global team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical execution, ensuring the effective integration and optimization of GRC application(s) and processes. This role requires strong technical acumen, deep banking industry knowledge, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions that meet regulatory and operational needs. The successful candidate will be required to work shifts that include UK hours.
Experience, skills and capability
• Configure, customize, and optimize GRC platforms.
• Ensure GRC tools align with regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III, IFRS, GDPR).
• Oversee integration of GRC tools with core banking systems, data warehouses, and reporting platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, IT, and Operations to identify and document detailed business requirements.
• Develop technical specifications, workflows, and data models to guide system configurations.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated dashboards and reporting tools for regulatory, operational, and compliance metrics.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, gaps, or potential risks.
• Partner with business units to understand risk and compliance challenges and propose technical solutions.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams (developers, system architects) and non-technical stakeholders (compliance officers, risk managers).
• Conduct gap analyses to identify inefficiencies in risk management, compliance, or governance processes.
• Develop technical workflows to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Contribute to GRC system upgrade or implementation projects, ensuring timelines, scope, and deliverables are met.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support post-implementation reviews.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Risk or a related field.
• Certified Business Analysis
Industry Experience
• 5-7 years in Governance, Risk and Compliance roles
• Experience in working in regulated industries (e.g banking, finance, IT)
Technical Experience
• Hands-on experience with GRC platforms/tools
• Experience integrating GRC systems
• Knowledge of API integrations, workflows and system automation
Business Analysis Experience
• 7-10 years of business analysis
• Proven track record of requirement gathering process optimization and stakeholder management
• Experience in gap analysis, root cause analysis and developing business cases
• Familiarity with Agile and scrum methodologies
• Collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
