Investec Sandton is looking for a head of project management who will be responsible for and lead a team of Project Managers/Scrum Master that plan, manage, and lead the delivery of multiple projects (strategic/business/technical) for Private Banking Technology (PB Tech), in line with the project management governance framework, application & integration architecture and IT governance standards. The head of project management will be responsible for regular progress and status reporting on all assigned change delivery activities, as well as proactively identifying, reporting and managing all risks, issues and changes that may impact the project outcomes on projects within the PBTech space.  This individual will also be part of the PBTech Manco and part of delivering to the Tech Manco strategies.

Experience, skill and capability
•    Min 5yrs experience managing projects, including cross-functional delivery teams.
•    5 years experience leading a team 
•    Knowledge and experience with structure, agile and/or lean project management methodologies
•    Project management certification and experience essential (PMI)
•    Structured project management methodologies
•    Delivery of Technology Projects
•    Delivery of projects in the Financial Sector is an advantage
•    Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to effectively communicate an adoption strategy that you aid in defining and identifying dependencies within.
•    Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure and management of multiple priorities with competing demands for resources.
•    Manage stakeholder relationships across business and technical teams.
