Our early careers roles in banking are designed for individuals at the beginning of their careers offering the chance to learn, grow, and gain meaningful experience while contributing to how we support and connect with our clients every day.
Through our two-day Navigate recruitment experience, you'll gain practical exposure to the business, engage with our people, and explore where your skills and interests could make an impact. No prior work experience is required, just a bachelor's degree, curiosity, potential, and the confidence to take that first step.

- Final-year undergraduate or postgraduate students
- Planning to start working in January 2027
The Process:
1. Apply online between 1–30 June 2026
2. You'll be invited to complete a short video interview
3. Successful candidates will move on to a follow-up online interview
4. Further shortlisted candidates will be invited to the two-day in office Navigate experience in September 2026
5. Selected candidates will progress to a final interview with Investec business leaders
6. Final outcomes will be confirmed before year-end, with the opportunity to start your career in January 2027

Client-facing opportunities at Investec place you at the centre of how we build and maintain trusted relationships with our clients. Whether in the Client Support Centre (CSC), Private Banking, or our Wealth & Investment businesses, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs, guide them through our products and platforms, and deliver a service experience that is seamless, personal and tailored.
Operational roles at Investec sit at the core of how the bank functions day-to-day, ensuring that processes run smoothly, accurately and in line with regulatory standards. These roles involve managing high‑volume administrative and transactional activities such as payments processing, client onboarding, account and system administration, reconciliations, and risk or fraud-related investigations.

- Can I apply if I want to pursue CA articles? Students who intend to complete CA articles are not eligible.
- Can I apply if I want to pursue a career in Technology? Students planning to build a career in technology are not eligible.
- Can I apply if I want to pursue a career in Law? We do not offer law articles; however, you are welcome to apply if you are interested in starting a career in banking using your legal background.
- Can I apply if I want to pursue a career in Quantitative Analysis? Students with a degree in one of the STEM fields and wanting to build a career in Quants are not eligible. Feel free to apply for our 2028 Quants Grad programme when applications open early in 2027.
- What opportunities are available in Early Careers? Our roles are focused on giving you exposure to the core of the business and banking, where you'll gain experience supporting clients and understanding how the bank operates day-to-day.
