Description
As the Lead for the Colleague Services team across the Southern Hemisphere, you will be responsible for the delivery of exceptional end-user IT support services across multiple regions. This includes oversight of desktop support, trader support, IT walk-in centres, and device and mobile management. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the colleague experience by ensuring operational excellence, fostering a high-performance culture, automating workloads through AI and aligning service delivery with business needs. Your key responsibilities would be to contribute to the overall ITS Colleague Services strategy supporting the Investec Digital and Technology strategic objectives. Developing and maintaining the performance of the team in line with target competences and ensuring service delivery meets SLA's and stakeholder expectations. You will be enabling seamless colleague experiences using the Microsoft eco-system for personal productivity and collaboration as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Experience, skills and capability
• A minimum of 2 years in a technical team leadership role, with direct reports.
• Regulatory Knowledge to ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements across the supported region.
• Prior technical experience in delivery and/or technical team leadership in at least one of the core pillar capabilities of a Digital Modern workplace.
• Prior experience of leading the development and implementation of AI-driven projects across the organisation.
• Prior experience of collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration.
• Prior demonstrable experience in implementing large, complex technical delivery spanning multiple domains and business teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Be able to influence and build relationships and enable process with external and internal stakeholders and leaders across the group.
• Demonstrate strong decision-making capability and drive innovation.
• Demonstrate deep appreciation and understanding of the Investec culture and be able to apply that knowledge across various Investec geographies.
• Have prior experience in program and coordination capability - essential to enabling highly complex and inter-connected technical delivery.
• Willingness and availability to travel to various Group offices, as and when needed.
